Salam! I'm Hakim.

I make small games about Morocco.

Pixel art, mint tea and a lot of Darija. Three games out so far, more in the oven.

Game 1 · Marrakech

Inherit your grandfather's hanout and keep it running from sunrise to last customer: stock the shelves, serve the neighbourhood, count exact change.

Who's behind the counter?

I'm Hakim, a designer and a developer from Morocco. I grew up on pixel games, and now I make my own, about the things I know: the hanout on the corner, the rush before ftour, the zellige on the wall.

They are small, they fit in your pocket, and they speak Darija.

And when I am not making games…

I make things for other people: websites, brands, apps, and the odd tech puzzle nobody else wants to touch. I have been at it for more than 15 years. There is no portfolio here, I'd rather show you the games. But if you are building something cool, say salam.

Say salam

Got something cool in mind? A website, a brand, an app, a game? I am listening.
